Mary was a nice neighbor next door when I was a child. Mary and her husband Bill Boyer lived in an old log house on a farm in Linton Township. There son Francis continued to live there most of his life until the Peabody Coal Company bought the farm for strip mining and destroyed the house and the barn. This historic old log house built by Bill's father George Boyer should have been saved.
