Francis Boyer never married. His sister and brother in law died young leaving two young sons. Francis raised the Adam's brothers in his farm home. His home was an old log house with an extra room built on the back in later years. It was his parents house and before that his grandparents house. Francis sold milk and delivered coal to his many customers in Coshocton and Coshocton County. His coal came from the Green Coal Mine adjoining his property. He loved to square dance.
