Earl was a son of A. Randal Adams and Lauisa J. McPeek. He was a WWI soldier trained at Camp Pike in Arkansas in 1920. After he married Margaret Boyer he lived in Newcomerstown, Ohio and worked at the Heller Tool Co. His wife fell down a flight of stairs and died of a broken neck in 1939, leaving two young sons. Randal died in Cleveland, Ohio in 1947. His sons William & Earl Francis Adams were raised by their Uncle Francis Boyer in Linton Township, Ohio.
