Arthur Beide, 75, of 2001 Pontoon Road, a retired electrician, died at 11:40 p.m., Wednesday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
He was born in Mitchell and was a lifelong resident of the Quad-Cities.
Mr. Beide retired in 1966 at Granite City Steel. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Protestant Welfare Association and the Gideon Society.
Survivor's include his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Beide; one son, Robert Beide; two sisters; Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Zimmer and Mrs. Newman (Clara) Warden and two grandchildren.
Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 25th and Henry streets, from Bob Thomas Memorial Mortuary, 2205 Pontoon Road. Interment, Sunset Hill Cemetery, Edwardsville Township. Visitation after 3p.m. Friday.
