Elmer L. Day
Elmer Lyman Day, 80, died in a Salt Lake rest home Wednesday night of causes incident to age.

Born March 8, 1883 at Deseret, Millard County, a son of James and Emma Mitchell Day. Married to Laurie Brunson Oct. 24, 1901, at Fillmore. She died Nov. 2, 1953. Member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors: five sons, four daughters Blaine, Fillmore; Lyman, Douglas, James and Don, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ward (Laura) Phelps, Mrs. Charles (Fay) Edelen, Mrs. Harold (Cleo) Parrott, all of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Bryan (Elaine) Rogerson, Kaysville; 41 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jess Day, Mrs. Flora Copper, both of Aurora; Horace Day, Clinton Day and Mrs, Ruby Davies, Fillmore; Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Stewart, San Clemente, Calif., and Mrs. Walthew (Venus) Barnes, San Gabriel, Calif.

Funeral services Saturday, 1 p.m. Fillmore First Ward. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Fillmore an hour before services.
