Mr. Hull was born on Aug. 7, 1921, a son of Russell P.and Mary G. Cook Hull in Whitley County.
He was reared in Richland Township and received his formal education in the public schools of Whitley County. He graduated from Larwill High School with the class of 1939.
Mr. Hull served in WW II. When he returned to the United States, he resided on Old Road 30, Columbia City.
On September 8,1940, he was married to Dorma Jean Stump, in Pierceton, Indiana,and the couple moved to North Manchester where they resided, operating a chicken farm they called "Hull's Egg Basket" from 1955 until 1968. They also resided in Auburn, IN, New Buffalo, MI, and Paddock Lake, WI before moving to their farm home in Hamlet, IN.
Mr Hull is survived by his wife, Dorma Jean Hull of Hamlet; 31 adopted and foster children; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Dorwick of Glen Ellen, Ill.; seven sons, Paul Edward Hargrove of Cahoka, Ill., Larry Lee Hull of Cedar Lake, Ronald D. Hull of North Manchester, Max McKinley of Paris, Mich., Richard D. Hull of Garrett, McClellen Lockard of New Haven and Harry A. Hull of New Buffalo, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.
