Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Lucille) Smock of Earlville and Mrs. Laverne (Elinor) Martin of Scotch Grove; five grandchildren; four brothers, William of Hopklnton, Fred, Herman and Garrett of Montlcello; five sisters, Mrs. Fred H. (Anna) Lange of Scotch Grove, Mrs. Minnie Heeren and Mrs. Mary Wright of Monticello, Mrs. Louis (Emma) Schrader of Sand Springs and Mrs. Louis (Lena) Arthofer of Dubuque.
