1-9-1896 - Mrs. Ella Lavina Adams, wife of G. K. Adams and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wiant, passed peacefully to rest at the home of her parents on South Fifth Avenue, this place, at an early hour on last Tuesday morning from consumption. She was aged 27 years, and had been a patient sufferer for about a year past although she was able to be about until within a week or ten days of her demise. Deceased was a faithful member of the Reformed church having been confirmed in early girlhood. Besides a husband and two small children she leaves many relatives and friends to mourn her demise. The funeral occurred this Thursday a.m. The bereaved family in the serious loss they have sustained, are entitled to the condolence of all.

1-9-1896 Mrs. G. W. [K] Adams died at the residence of her father, Wm. Wiant, on lower Fifth avenue, of consumption, Monday night. Mrs. Adams leaves a husband and two children. She was 27 years old, a member of the Reformed church and highly esteemed. The funeral took place at the Lutheran church at 11 o'clock, this morning, Rev. H. E. Wieand officiating. Interment in Clarion cemetery.
