12 Oct 1964: Alfred E. Behney, 64, 930 Spring Street, died at 5 AM today in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was admitted Saturday evening. Behney was retired and had formerly worked as a machinist for the Bethlehem Steel Company. He was a member of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, Lebanon. He was a life member of the fire chiefs association and a member of firemans aid. Surviving are his wife, the former Carrie E. Donten; two sons, Chester A. of Lebanon and Richard K., stationed with the US Air Force in Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Mildred, wife of Harvey Hammer; Mary, wife of Paul Boltz; and Mrs. Mabel Alicea, all of Lebanon; and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Sherman of Lebanon, RD #3. He was the son of the late Emanuel and Susan Boltz Behney. Interment to be made in the Kimmerlings Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
