Mabel Lillian Alicea, 84, of Avon, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Pedro J. Alicea who died in 2004. She was born in Lebanon on October 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Alfred and Carrie Donten Behney. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. Mabel was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church of Lebanon. She was past member of the Avon Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Avon Playground Association and was recipient of the Jefferson Jackson Award. She was also an avid Brooklyn / LA Dodger fan. She is survived by sons, Adrien Markey of Lebanon; Peter wife of Charlotte Alicea of Newmanstown; daughters, Holly wife of Joseph Pavlesich of Rexmont; Allecia wife of Tom Imboden of Lebanon; Anna wife of Ted Allwein of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Chester Behney and Richard Behney; sisters, Mildred Hammer and Mary Boltz; grandson, David and great grandson, Dylan. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be made in the Kimmerling's Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8:00 PM at the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon and on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
