Elvira Fitzhugh, 91, and a native of Covelo, passed away at a Ukiah hospital on March 8, 1987. She had lived in Ukiah for eight years, coming from Covelo where she had been a life long resident. Mrs Fitzhugh was born on March 10, 1895, and was a homemaker her adult life.
She is survived by two sons, Ted O'Ferrall of Covelo and Leone L O'Ferrall of Gualala. Mrs Fitzhugh also leaves behind thee brothers, Ivan (of Fortuna), Frank (of Redwood Valley) and Eldon (of Potter Valley) Brightenstine. In addition, she also leaves six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
