Mrs. William Adams Claimed By Death
Funeral Service Held This Morning at Barium Springs - Interment at Stony Point. Mrs. Sarah Prudence Hill Adams died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock at her home in Barium Springs, death resulting from a stroke of paralysis which she suffered last Wednesday night.
The funeral service was held this morning at 11 o'clock at Barium, conducted by Rev. W. C. Brown, and the interment was in cemetery at Stony Point.
Mrs. Adams was born and reared in the Clio community, a daughter of the late Thomas M. Hill and Melissa Stevenson Hill, and a sister of the late Prof. J. H. Hill, and Dr. M. W. Hill, of Statesville, and Mr. R. R. Hill, of Clio.
She married Mr. William Adams, they made their home in the Clio community for a number of years, later moving to Stony Point.
Since Mr. Adams' death several years ago, Mrs. Adams had made her home at Barium Springs, with her daughters. Mrs. Adams was 85 years of age.
She is survived by three daughters, and two sons, Mrs. W. C. Wooten, and Mr. Leland Adams, of Bethany Township; Misses Maggie and Mattie Adams, of Barium Springs; and Mr. John Wood Adams, of Texas.
