Clarence R. Nordtome, 80, who had resided at 920 2nd Ave. W. Kalispell, Montana, passed away in Kalispell, Wednesday evening. He was born June 23, 1894, in Kalispell, a son of Robert and Carrie Nordtome. He had attended Kalispell schools and had served in the U.S. Army during WWI. Mr. Nordtome was a mechanic and had been employed by several of the local garages prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. He married Mabel Billedeaux, Aug 28, 1923, in Kalispell. He is survived by his widow at the family home. He is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Bures of Walton Beach, Fla. and Mrs.Dorothy Herrington of Portland, Ore.: three grandchildren Cindi, Sandra and Scott Bures: three brothers, Edward, Melford and Clifford Nordtome all of Kalispell: one sister, Mrs. Alma Feurt of Oroville, Calif., and a number of other relatives. Rosary for Mr. Nordtome will be recited in the Johnson Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Bruce Plummer as celebrant. Interment will be in the Glacier Memorial Gardens.
