Andy S.Nordtome age 84, 245 5th Ave. W. died Thursday in Flathead Health Center, Kalispell, Montana. He was a life long resident of Kalispell. Mr. Nordtome was born in the Flathead on August 17,1890, a son of Robert and Carrie Nordtome. He attended schools in Kalispell after which he served in the Montana National Guard. He was married to Gurina Iverson June 3, 1913, in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Nordtome owned and operated the North Star Dairy from 1913 until 1928, then went to work for Equity Supply for six years. He worked for the Glacier Dairy 35 years until he retired in 1972. He was a member of the Central Bible Church of Kalispell. Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Kenneth of Kalispell, and Owen (Bud) Nordtome, Stryker: a daughter Mrs. Claude Glazier, Kalispell, four brothers, Clarence, Edward, Melford and Clifford all of Kalispell, Montana: a sister, Mrs. Alma Feurt, Oroville, Calif: eight grand children, and eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, his parents, his step-mother, Inga Nordtome in February, a daughter, Klicia in infancy, and three sisters, Mida Schmauch, Lena Phillips and Irene Mildren. Funeral services will be a 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Weatherford Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence P. Loewen, pastor of the Central Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in the Glacier Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
