Last Rites for Mrs. Mary Lawin Friday
Mrs. Mary Lawin, 77, a lifelong Waseca county resident passed away at the Memorial hospital Wednesday morning. A heart condition was the cause of death
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 P.M. at St. John's Lutheran church. Pall bearers will be six nephews, Edwin Buker, Alvin Abbe, Rueben Prechel, Walter Buker, Fred Krassin, and George Bolduan.
Mary H. Buker was born on October 23, 1872 the daughter of Henry and Caroline Buker in Waseca county. She was united in marriage to Fred Lawin on June 21,1893. They lived on a farm in St. Mary's for seven years and then moved to Waseca. Her husband preceded her in death in July 1921.
Three children, Clara, Chicago; Laura, Albert Lea; and Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Lueck of Waseca survive as also one grandchild, Mary Lueck. She is the last survivor of a family of six, three brothers and two sisters.
