Fred Lawin, a well known resident of Waseca died yesterday afternoon of complications resulting from stomach trouble. He had been failing since Christmas and was confined to his bed for the past five weeks. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday, afternoon, with services at the house at 2 and at the Evangelical church at 2:30. Rev. Nauman will officiate. Deceased was 62 years of age and a native of Germany, but most of his life time has been spent in this community, where he followed the carpenter's trade and was esteemed by all who knew him. On June 21, 1893, he was married to Mary Buker, who survives him, together with three daughters, Clara, Laura and Esther, who have the sympathy of the community in the loss of a devoted husband and father.
