Mrs. Doris Allbritton Crews, 60, died Friday (Nov. 15, 2002) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

She is a native of Ware County, and she has lived most of her life in the Waycross area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Advent Christian Church.

She is the daughter of the late Matthew Allen Allbritton and Mary Elizabeth Strickland Allbritton. She is also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, William Henry Allbritton, Mattie Eunice, Floyd Allen Allbritton and Betty Jo Aldridge.

She is survived by three sons, Mike Crews of Charlotte, TN, Randy Crews of Tulsa, OK, and David Crews of Troy, NH; three daughters, Cathy Pittman of Reidsville, Amy Griffin of Register, and Sara Kate Crews of Charlotte, TN; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Loysell Barwick of Polk City, FL, Janie Hickox of Waycross, Amanda Eaton of Blackshear, Mamie Sellers of Waycross, and Judy Aldridge of Williston, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 19, 2002) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
