POLK CITY -- Mrs. Martha Barwick of Polk City died of heart failure Friday (Nov. 5, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 81.
Born Aug. 10, 1923, in Waycross, Ga., she came here from Georgia in 1953. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Barwick was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Barwick. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Swartz, Teresa Hudson, Patsy Clark, Margaret Abele; sisters, Janie Hickox, Mamie Sellars, Amanda Eaton; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gentry-Morrison Southside. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at Gentry-Morrison
