Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 1, 1981, for Nim E. Bredeson, 71, Darlington, who died Sunday, March 29, 1981, in the Lafayette Manor Nursing Home in Darlington following a three-month illness.

He was born in Fayette Township, Lafayette County, June 16, 1909, to Lewis and Clara Hanson Bredeson.

A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Bates-O'Brien American Legion Post No. 214. He had operated a filling station in Blanchardville until retiring.

Surviving are four brothers, Sherman of Darlington, Roy of Fayette and Leland and Glenn, both of Argyle, and Archie of Monroe, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Evans of South Beloit, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Funeral services were conducted in the Erickson-Sharer Funeral Home, Darlington, with the Rev. Chris Lee-Thompson of the Apple Grove Church officiating. Graveside military rites were held.
