ALVIN RABE

Alvin Rabe, 82, of 104 Paine St., Kiel, died this morning shortly after admittance at Calument Memorial Hospital in Chilton.
Mr. Rabe was born July 27, 1903, in the Town of Schleswig, son of August and Caroline Schnuell Rabe.
He attended district school in the Town of Schleswig.
He married Helen Vogel on Sept. 15, 1928. After marriage they farmed in the Town of Schleswig. Mrs. Rabe died in 1953.
Mr. Rabe married Ruby Kissinger on Sept. 3, 1955, in Kiel, and they farmed in the Town of Schleswig until retirement in 1971, when they moved to Kiel.Mr. Rabe was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Everett and Ronald, both of rural Kiel, and Kenneth and Alvin Jr., both of rural Valders; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Jeanette) Baltz of St. Nazianz; 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; five brothers, Alfon and Arno, both of rural Kiel, Fred and Elmer, both of Kiel, and Rueben of New Holstein; and three sisters, Mrs. Florence Binversie and Mrs. Dorothy Fluhr, both of rural Kiel, and Mrs. Elda Wagner of Kiel.
He was preceded in death by one sister, one grandchild, and one great-
grandchild.
The funeral was Tuesday at St. Peter UCC in Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Schleswig Cemetery in Rockville.
