Husband of Wildia M. Coffman who resided in New Hope, Arkansas.

Lloyd served as a Sergeant, 33rd Bomber Squadron, 22nd Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Pike County, Arkansas prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on May 23, 1941, prior to the war. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Farm Hand and also as Single, without dependents.

Lloyd was a passenger on C-47B #43-16343 which was flying from Tacloban, Philippines to Angaur, Palau during the war.

C-47B #43-16343 was assigned to the 70th Troop Carrier Squadron, 433rd Troop Carrier Group, U.S. Army Air Force. The plane went missing, cause unknown.

Lloyd was declared "Missing In Action" on this flight when it failed to arrive at Angaur.
