Covington is survived by seven children; three sons, Monroe of Baton Rouge, Sam of Walker and Berlin of the United States Army; four daughters, Mrs. C.C. Richardson of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Clay Sibley, Mrs. Doris Ballard and Miss Sula Covington, all of Walker; 12 brothers, eight sisters, and nine grandchildren.
