Hello Members and Guests:

I recently contacted Management about the explosion of unwanted records and other photos that do not belong on memorials. This was their response:

"The photos section of a memorial page is only to be used for photos of the deceased and photos of their grave."

"The photo area is ONLY to be used for photos of the person, their grave, their family, their house, etc. A scan of your grandmother's manuscript would be perfectly acceptable in the photo area, because it is an image that is personally attached to the deceased."

PLEASE- do not put death certificates, or other records from ancestry.com on my memorials. I don't use them anymore. If it isn't a photo of the grave marker or monument, or a picture of the person or his/her family do not post it. I will accept obituaries if they are cropped and legible.

Cemetery update 2022

1. Quaker Cemetery in Farmington, Oakland County, Michigan has been completely documented, researched, and photographed. In 2017, all of the markers and monuments were restored and photographed. It is a small, one acre, inactive cemetery. ALL of the people buried in Quaker are on Find-a-Grave.

2. Oakwood Cemetery in Farmington, Oakland County, Michigan has been completely documented, researched and photographed up to the burials of July 2022. It is a small cemetery in town, with less than 2,100 burials. No one should be added to Oakwood unless they died recently.

3. Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan
A. Brookside Garden, Block 15 was completely photographed in 2021.
B. Garden of Victory, Block 21 has been photographed from Sections 1-380. I will continue photographing it in fall 2022.
C. Garden of Rest, Block 2, almost half has been photographed.
D. Some sections of Forgiveness, Hope, Peace, Prayer, Sunrise and Ascension have also been photographed.
E. Currently working on Evergreen, Block 12 - fall of 2022
