Bio

Dear Friends:
MAY 2023:
Please go by my new VC, "Modern Day Saints". They're holy people who lived among us in recent times.
MARCH 2023:
At long last, I've done some major housekeeping on the "In Need of Flowers" VC. Thank you to Black Cat Enthusiast and Miss Midnight for your faithful placing of tokens on this VC. Yes, I noticed! I've included the Barbaros on this VC; their tragic story is told below.

April 2023
How could I have possibly excluded George Dewitt Mason (#184913894) from my "Architects" Virtual Cemetery? I have rectified that faux pas immediately, and also listed him in my "Uncommon Detroiters" list. How could I have been so careless?
I'm also making some suggestions to add to his frightfully inadequate one word biographical sketch. Hopefully, they'll be accepted and not a second too soon. Mason is worthy of much more.

March 2023
I recently found the pages of two very dear friends of my parents. I'm not sure if they're from the old neighborhood, if they met bowling or through mutual friends. I DO remember when the wife passed away from a brain tumor. My dad took Mr. Joe bar-hopping and he kept telling dad that he thought he had a brain tumor just like his wife. My dad said "No...no...you're just imagining it. Go to the doctor if your worried." Well, he did have a brain tumor as well and died a few months later. That really shook everyone up. My folks really had a hard time getting through that. So terribly sad.
Please leave a token for them if you can:
Joseph John Barbaro #214595705 & Catherine Mary Rizzo Barbaro. #214595789. Thank you, friends!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
From 2022:
❤ I added a photo to the page of one of the greats of Mid-Century Modern architecture, Richard Neutra. Please go check it out at Memorial # 94661087.
also...
❤ I have changed the name of one of my Virtual Cemeteries to "Uncommon Detroiters of Distinction".

Most of the entries are people that are not of common knowledge to many people...even many native Detroiters. Feel free to drop a few flowers & tokens as you pass by. Thanks!
PS: I added my nickname to differentiate between another Miss Morgan. I am the original, if you're looking for me...the same girl as 20 years ago

PREVIOUS NOTICES:
I've found a page for my biological maternal grandfather, Armando Gubbiotti, who passed away three months before my mother was born. He's at Memorial ID #197315366. Please stop there and leave a token if you should happen by.

I've added a page for my paternal uncle, Albert Zakrzewski, who died as an infant. I remembered my father mentioning a baby brother who would have been the same age as my mother. I got curious one day and found his grave in the cemetery database! Please go by and leave a token for my baby uncle if you have the time. His Memorial ID# is 220398540 · Thanks ever so!

ALSO:
I posted a photograph of the statue that was erected of George "The Dog" Gay, the hero dog of New Zealand. Go by and see it! Memorial ID: 19381028

PLEASE ALSO VISIT:
