Amos Z. Hoover,63, Ephrata R2, died at his residence Thursday morning after a lengthy
illness. He was the husband of Mary Reiff Hoover.
A farmer, he was a member of the Old Order Conestoga Mennonite Church, Ephrata R2.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by these chidren; Jonas R. Hoover, Mary R, wife of Leon
Hoover, and Ruth R., wife of Edward News-
wanger, all of Shippensburg; Elam R. Lititz R4; Ezra R., Daniel R., Barbara R. Hoover, and Katie R., wife of Ivan Wenger, all of New Holland:James R. and Martha R. Hoover, both at home; Emma R., wife of David Oberholtzer,Leola; Paul R. and Ada R. wife of Elmer Martin, both of Ephrata R2; and Louina R. wife of Allen Zimmerman, Mifflinburg R1; 32 grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters: Frank Z. and Ivan Z., both Ephrata R2; and Harvey Z.,Ephrata R3; Frances, wife of Samuel Martin, Ephrata R2; Lizzie Stover,
Ephrata R4; and Annie, wife of John Weaver, Rohrerstown.
