Mrs. Cora R. Burkholder, 28, of Martinsburg R1, died Thursday at 9:45 p.m. at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after a lengthy illness.
She and her husband, Henry G. Burkholder, were married in Lancaster County on March 5, 1970.
Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of Amos and Mary M. Hoover, Ephrata R2. She was a member of a Mennonite Church at Martinsburg R1.
Surviving besides her husband and her parents are three children, Jane, Lovina, and Henry, all at home.
Also surviving are six brothers and eight sisters: Emma, wife of David Oberholtzer, Leola R2; Barbara Hoover, Ephrata R2; Jones Hoover, Ephrata R2; Katie, wife of Ivan Wenger, New Holland R1; Mary, wife of Leon Hoover, Leola R1; Ada, wife of Elmer Martin, New Holland R1; and Elam Hoover, Ezra Hoover, Ruth Hoover, Daniel Hoover, Martha Hoover, Paul Hoover, Lovina Hoover, and James Hoover, all of Ephrata R2.
