Frank Z. Hoover,69,a retired farmer, died Saturday morning at his Ephrata R2 home after a lingering illness.
He was the husband of Rebecca N. Hoover
Born in West Earl Township, he was the son of
the late Daniel N. and Anna Zimmerman Hoover.
He was a member of the Conestoga Mennonite
Church,West Earl Township, and had lived on his farm for 42 years.
In addition to his widow, he is, survived by a son, Frank H. Ephrata R2; seven daughters; Mary, wife of Elvin S. Martin, Ephrata R4; Vera, wife of Harvey Brubaker, Torp, Wisc.; Anna May at home; Frances, wife of John D.,
Newswanger, Newville; Martha, wife of Edwin Sensenig, Ephrata R4; Ella wife of Melvin B. Leid,Shippensburg; and Alma, wife of Melvin Sensenig, Curtiss,Wisc.
Also surviving are three sisters: Frances, wife of Samuel M. Martin, Ephrata R2; Lizzie Stover
Ephrata R4;and Annie,wife of John D. Weaver,
Orrstown;two brothers,Ivan Hoover, Ephrata; and Harvey Hoover, Ephrata R3; and 33 grandchildren.
