Funeral services were held at Thomas Memorial Church at 11 o'clock for Mrs. Jane Beamon, 66, who died at her home at the pinnacle operation in McComas Friday afternoon. Mrs. Beamon had been falling in health for a number of years.
Five Sons and two daughters survive as follows: J.E. Beamon of Harmonsville, PA.; Charley Beamon of Rhodell; George Beamon of Twin Branch; Claude and Lee Beamon of McComas: Mrs. Robert Gilley of Smithport, N.C., and Mrs. D.E Howell of McComas. Her Husband preceded her into her grave a number of years ago. two brothers and two sisters also survive.
Mrs. Beamon was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral was preached by the Rev. Garland Anderson. of Matoaka, assisted by the Rev. J. R. Belcher of Montcalm. Burial was in Lambert Cemetery.
