Mrs. Dolphus Elmer (Maggie Beamon) Howell, 76, of Rt. 6, (Glenwood Park), Princeton, died Monday in a Princeton hospital after a short illness. Bom in Piney Creek, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Riley and Janie Dowell Beamon. She was a resident of Glenwood Park for 38 years. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 25, 1974, and by four brothers and one sister. Survivors include one son, Elmer Howell of Princeton; one brother, Claude Beamon of Flint, Mich.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be W.L. Warden, Harry Hutchinson, Posey Hill, O.L. "Okie" Booth, Merrill Crane, J.P. Morgan, J.B. Ball, and Dick Eldreth. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m
