A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Augustus Bond and Emma Giddens Bond. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Lee Thompson of Cadwell; two sons, Charles Thompson of Cadwell and Sam Thompson of Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Smith of Dublin; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Grinstead, Mrs. Alice Grinstead and Mrs. Hazel Christian, all of Cadwell; two brothers, Wilbur Bond of Warner Robins and Leonard Bond of Statesboro.
Pallbearers will be Sherrill Grinstead, Wayne Christian, Don Christian, Augustus Upshaw, Donnie Upshaw, and Carrol Grinstead.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9pm. Adams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
