CENTERTOWN-Mary Ruth Chinn, 79, of Centertown died Sunday, February 5, 2006, at Americare Living Center in Portland, Indiana. Mary was a member of the Methodist Church in centertown. Mary was born on January 18, 1927, in Ohio County, the daughter of Guy and Loga (Hill) Bennett. She was a graduate of Centertown High School. She married William Chinn on November 15, 1946, and he died on September 1, 2002. She was preceded in death by a son, William Chinn Jr.,in 1978; and a daughter, Rebecca Ann Chinn, who died in 1999.
Survivors include a sister, Modine McLimore of Hayden, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mary Ruth Chinn will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 9, at Duke-Bevil Brothers Funeral Home. The Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
