CENTERTOWN-William Chinn,80, of Centertown died Sunday, September 1, 2002 at Fordsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Ohio County native retired from General Electric Company in Owensboro, was a member of Centertown Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, a 50 year member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Welborn Lee Ashby American Legion Post 296.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bill Chinn, Jr. and a daughter Becky Chinn.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Bennett Chinn and a grandson.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Centertown Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
