Charles "Charlie" Chinn, 79, of 11725 Red Hill-Maxwell Road, Utica, died Wednesday, November 6, 1991, at his home. He was born in Centertown and was a school bus driver for the Daviess County Board of Education and a custodian for several years at Utica School before retiring. He was a member of Greenbriar Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Chinn; 2 daughters, Mrs. Paul (Betty) Staples of Red Hill and Mrs. Brenda Staples of Owensboro; a son, Shirlie Chinn of Owensboro; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Chinn of Centertown.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro. Burial in Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation from 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
