CANADICE — Married on the 17th inst., at the residence of the father of the bride (Henry McCrossen) by the Rev. R. T. Hancock, Mr. Asa Ganung to Miss Libbie McCrossen, both of Canadice. Mr. G. being engaged in teaching, they are necessarily precluded from enjoying an extended tour, and are spending the holidays with their numerous friends in town.

Carolyn G. York, 101, of the Fairport Baptist Home, died Thursday October 27, 1988 at the Baptist Home. She was born in Livonia January 9, 1887 the daughter of A.C. and Elizabeth McCrossen Ganung. She was the widow of the late Rev. John G. York. Mrs. York was s member of the Greece Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gordon and Charlotte York of Kendall; her daughter Mrs. Barbara Lunn of Venice Florida; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.

No prior calling hours, Friends wereiInvited to attend a memorial service Saturday at the Fairport Baptist Home. Burial, Union Cemetery Livonia. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Fairport Baptist Home Memorial Fund. Arrangements, Brown-Drowne Funeral Home, Livonia.
