Mrs. Henry McCrossen died at the residence of Levi Coykendall last week Thursday night of pneumonia, after a sickness of two weeks, at the age of 69. For two or three years she had made per home with her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Coykendall, now of Lima, and was visiting at Levi Coykendall's when attacked by the illness that proved fatal in spite of the tenderest care. Mrs. McCrossen had lived in the town of Canadice, within a half a mile of where she died, nearly all her life. She leaves a husband, four sons and four daughters, Mrs. Squier Coykendall of Rochester, Mrs. A. C. Gaming of this village, Mrs. E. Coykendall of Lima, and Mrs. Stephenson of the town of Richmond. The funeral was held from Levi Coykendall's at 2 o'clock Tuesday, after three postponements on account of the storm, the Rev. Mr. Burr officiating. The death of this estimable lady carries sorrow to many homes.
