Arnold E. "Andy" Andersen 1918 ~ 2006 Arnold passed away November 6, 2006. He was born March 10, 1918 in Salt Lake City, the son of Erastus M. and Anine Petersen Andersen. He married Darlene "Darl" Fowkes April 26, 1941, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Arnold graduated from South High School. He retired from the U & I Sugar Company after 20 years. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served on the Highland Stake High Council for five years, also he and his wife served a mission as guides at Welfare Square for six and one half years. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, Henry E. (Genevieve) Andersen and two sisters, Esther Andersen (John) Nelson and Luella Andersen. Survived by his wife, Darlene; loving nieces and nephews, Anina (Hugo) Diederich, Shauna (Norman) Steen, Alayna Nelson, Dann (April) Nelson, Kelly (Pat) Nelson, JoAnn (Jay) Ludwig, Carolyn (Tim) Austin, Ken (June) Andersen and Allan (Shirlee) Andersen. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 10, 2006, 12 noon, at the Highland Park Ward, 2535 S. Douglas (1250 East). Viewing prior to service from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment in Salt Lake City Cemetery. Online condolences at www.larkinmortuary.com
