ROOSEVELT, Duchesne County--Frances Christy Bench Hair, 78, passed away Thursday, August 29, 1980 at the Duchesne County Hospital.

Frances was born Oct. 7, 1902 in Manti, Utah to Fredrick W. and Annie Madsen Bench. Married Leland Hair on Oct. 8, 1924 in the Salt Lake Temple. Retired child accountant for the Granite School District.

Survived by one son and two daughters, L. LaMar Hair, Hacienda Heights, Calif; Mrs. Loryn (Barbara) Ross, (Pleasant Valley) Myton; Mrs. Karl (Lorille) Elggren, San Jose, Calif; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters, Tatton Bench, Salt Lake City, Donald Bench, St. George; Edmund Bench, Duchesne,; Mrs. Joseph (Kathleen) Bentley, Provo; Mrs. Helen Odekirk, Duchesne; and Mrs. Bernard (Ruth) Dastrup, Altamont.

Funeral services Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 S 23rd East at 1 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment: Sunset Gardens of the Valley.
