WILLIAM COOK, 90, WELL KNOWN CUTLER RESIDENT IS DEAD
William W "Bill" Cook, 90, retired farmer and well-known resident of Cutler, Indiana died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Sheagley, Sr. after an illness of a year and a half.

Born January 10, 1862 at Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, he came to this county at the age of two with his parents, John A. Cook and Olive (Adams) Cook. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was married to Jennie B. Long who died January 10, 1929.

Surviving are a son, Joe Cook of Cutler, three daughters: Mrs. Frank Sheagley; Mrs. Hobart Deeds and Mrs. William Newell; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren preceded him in death as did his sister, Mrs. Florence Cook Stevenson and a brother, James Cook.

The body is at the Carter Funeral Home in Flora, Indiana. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the Cutler Presbyterian Church with Reverend E.E. Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Ball Hill Cemetery.
