Rene E. Favreau
Rene E. Favreau, 66, formerly of Plainville, died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Topeka, where he had been a patient for 30 years.
He was born Aug. 8, 1916, at Lawrence, Mass. He had farmed in the Plainville area before he became ill.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Plainville.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Yvette Hamel, Clyde; Sister Irene Adrian Favreau, Orange, Calif.; Mrs. Lillian Matheson, Clifton, and Mrs. Joan Adam, Emporia, and three brothers, George, Wichita; Emile, Snyder, Texas, and Richard, Protection.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, the Rev. Roger Hough officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at the Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
