Mrs. Henrietta Pack, age 80 years, passed away suddenly of a heart attack January 6, 1957, at the home of her son Mr. Foster Welch of near Garrett, where she had just been taken on Saturday afternoon from the home of her daughter Mrs. Clay Shelton with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband, Mr. John W. Pack, last January.
She was born March 12, 1876 in Meade County, a daughter of Foster Miller and Margaret Bland Miller.
She was first married to Charles Welch in 1890, who preceded her in death. On December 28, 1898 she married John William Pack, who passed away on January 26, 1956.
She is survived by two children, Mrs. Clay Shelton and Mr. Edward Welch. Two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Board of Brandenburg and Mrs. George Miller of Valley Station. Three half sisters, Mrs. Kate Jones, Mrs. Maggie Powell and Miss Elsie Miller all of Brandenburg and a half brother, Mr. Jack Miller of Ekron.
Funeral services were held January 9 from the Chapel of Wright Funeral Home in Brandenburg, Kentucky with the Rev. D.E. Jones officiating.Interment is at Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg, Meade County, Kentucky. Pallbearers were Russell Shelton, Paul Shelton, Jack Board, Dink Board, Frank Lawson and James W. Powell.
