Mrs. Rose Pack (nee Welch) was born October 5, 1894 and passed away December 10, 1955, at Kentucky Baptist Hospital after a long illness.
She was united in marriage to Herbert Pack, December 13, 1913, who survives her. She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Will Pack and step-father Mr. Will Pack of near Rock haven; one sister Mrs Clay Shelton, Brandenburg, one brother Foster welch of near Garrett.
She united with Buck Grove Baptist Church in early life and later moved her membership to South Jefferson Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member. She bore her suffering patiently and we knew our loss is Heaven's gain. Her aim in life was doing for others.
Funeral services were conducted at Phillips Memorial Baptist Church, by her pastor the Rev. D.E. Jones and assisted by Rev. F.E. Howard. Burial in Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, Meade County. Pallbearers were Howard Samuels, Henry Wiggengton, Duward Beavins, Earnest Henderson, Johnnie Beld of Kosmosdale and Russell Shelton of Brandenburg.
