Wallace D. Miller died early yesterday morning at his home in Shamrock Station. A laborer on the section gang of the Reading Railroad, he was 46 years old. He was born in Longswamp township and was a son of Nathan and the late Sarah (Burkey) Miller. He was a member of Longswamp Lutheran church, Topton Fire Co., and Topton Fire Co. Beneficial Assn. Surviving are his father; his wife, Katie (Kline) Miller; and the following children: Mrs. Mildred Yenser, Allentown; Kenneth Miller, Macungie R. 1; and Mark, Nancy, Gladys, Richard, Ronald and Patricia Ann Miller, at home. He also leaves three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Sarah Schadler and Ryan Miller, Mertztown; Mrs. Clara Lehman and Howard Miller, Topton; John Miller, Hellertown; Amandus Miller, Boyertown; Mrs. Carrie DeLong, East Greenville; Mrs. Jennie Eisel, Morristown, N.J.; and Mrs. Bessie Dease, Reading. Services will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the DeLong funeral home, Topton, Rev. Wilson H. Hartzell officiating. Burial will be in Longswamp church cemetery.
