Nathan S. Miller, 84, retired cement contractor, died at his home in Shamrock on Tuesday. He had been in ill health for about four months. Mr. Miller was born in Longswamp township, the son of the late John and Carolina, nee Smith, Miller. He was a lifelong adherent of the Lutheran faith. Survivors are the following sons and daughters: John, Hellertown; Amandus, Boyertown; Howard, Topton; Ryan, Mertztown; Carrie, wife of Fred DeLong, East Greenville; Jennie, wife of Frank Eisel, Morristown, N.J.; Bessie, wife of Robert Dease, Reading; Clara, wife of Abram Lehman, Topton; Sarah, wife of Harry Schoedler, Mertztown; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His wife, Sarah, nee Burkey, Miller, died 37 years ago. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the DeLong and Trexler Funeral home, Topton, with Rev. Luther L. Lengel in charge. Interment will be in Longswamp cemetery. Calling hours 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
