Elisha C. Stephens was born on February 10, 1903 in Haines Twp, Centre Co, Pennsylvania. His father Christopher Stephan b1861 was 41 and his mother Annie Rheppard Stephens was 42. He married Ester Estelle Wood on February 10, 1927 in Nanty-Glo, Cambria Co, Penns. They had eight children during their marriage. He passed away suddenly on May 4, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Penns, at the age of 52. He was laid to rest in Pike Grace Brethren Church Cemetery where some of the rest of his family is now buried. His father Christ and this writers grandfather Joseph were brothers. Elisha was my 1st cousin to my father Joseph b1905. (Written by a Stephan grandson)
