Mrs. John H. Maertz, 72, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, died Wednesday evening at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville, the Rev. Harvey Heckendorf officiating. Burial will be in the Westside church cemetery.

Mrs. Maertz, nee Emma Olp, was born Jan. 9, 1892, at Silver Lake, daughter of the late Anton and Albertina Engelbrecht Olp. She was married to Mr. Maertz Dec. 30, 1915. The couple farmed in the Town of Maple Grove, and she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and Homemakers Club. Her husband and a brother preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Elvira) Pipenburg, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, two sisters, Mrs. Louis Rabenhorst, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Leonard Maertz, of Reedsville, six brothers, William, of Reedsville, John, of Brillion, Herman, of Collins, Arthur, of Morrison, Arvin, of Fond du Lac and Harold of Reedsville and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Saturday until 11:30 a.m. Sunday and after noon at the church.
