Of her 9 brothers and sisters she is survived by her eldest brother, who turned 95 on October 4.

Her 4 half brothers and sisters survive her as well as 2 of her 3 stepbrothers & sister.

No services are planned for Clara Stone Blair, 90, of Temple.

Mrs. Blair died Tuesday, Oct. 8, in a Temple nursing home.
The body was cremated.

Clara was born on Nov. 17 , 1922, to Ed Lee and Wiley Louise White Walker in Bell Co., TX. On November 22, 1941, she married Jesse "J.R." Stone; they owned a local theater for more than 20 years in Temple before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband on September, 24, 1979; her second husband, John Egbert in 1985; and her third husband, Floyd Blair in 2001.

Survivors include a son Robert "Bob" Stone of Little River- Academy; two daughters, Susan Morris of Belton and Virginia Owens; three sisters, Dorothy Cole of Temple and Fay Copeland and Cewilla Wolff, both of Belton; four brothers, Roy Walker of Colorado Springs, CO., Robert "Pee Wee" Walker and Jesse Walker, both of Belton, and Claude Hess of Little River-Academy; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clara Stone Blair, age 90 of Temple died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Cornerstone Gardens Skilled Nursing Facility where she had lived the past 4 years. She was born November 17, 1922 in Bell County to Ed Lee and Wiley Louise (White) Walker.

She married Jesse (J.R.) Stone on November 22, 1941; they owned a local theater for over 20 years before retiring. Mr. Stone preceded her in death on September 24, 1979. Mrs. Blair is also preceded by her 2nd husband John Egbert of Cookville, Tennessee, her 3rd husband Floyd Blair of Belton, her parents, her step-mother Lemmie Grimm Hess Walker, 5 brothers A.W. Walker, Willie Dee "Bill" Walker, Houston Thomas "Tommy" Walker, Fred Hess and Ed Loris "Buster" Walker, 4 sisters Katie Walker Hess Raabe, Evelyn Walker West Cohen, Ann Walker Estridge and Hettie Walker Raabe.

Clara is survived by her son Robert "Bob" Stone of Little River, her 2 daughters Virginia Owens and Susan Morris of Belton, 3 sisters Dorothy Hess Smith Cole of Temple, Faye Walker Copeland and Cewilla Walker Wolff both of Belton, 4 brothers Roy Walker of Colorado Springs, CO., Robert "Pee Wee" Walker, Jesse Walker both of Belton and Claude Hess of Little River Academy, 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Blair requested to be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's.
