Rites Saturday For Anna Seeley
Mrs. Anna Seeley, 86, 1501 Spruce, died Thursday evening at Cushing Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Seeley had been in failing health for several years and had been a patient at the hospital eight weeks.
Mrs. Seeley was born Sept. 16, 1880 in Platte County, Mo., a daughter of John and Julia Jackson. Mrs. Seeley came to Leavenworth at an early age.
At Leavenworth, on Aug. 28, 1899, she was married to Robert M[eric] Seeley. Mr. Seeley died Aug. 16, 1945. Mrs. Seeley was a member of the Round Prairie Community Church.
Mrs. Seeley is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julia Fleshman, 1501 Spruce, and two sons, Robert Seeley, Cass Lake, Minn., and Manuel Seeley, Witholt [sic: Whipholt], Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Vina Hoff, 24 Rose; four grand-daughters and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John Hodge, pastor of the Round Prairie Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery. The body is at the chapel.
The family suggests memorials to Cushing Memorial Hospital.
