In Platte County Eighteen Years
Mrs. Julia Jackson, wife of John Jackson, an engineer, died yesterday morning of tuberculosis at the family home, Second and Pennsylvania avenues.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Kentucky [sic: Indiana] in 1843 [sic: 1842] [daughter of Vincent "Heady" Bradsberry & Nancy Tucker] and married Mr. Jackson Sept. 28, 1862 , at Fort Scott. After staying there two years they moved to Platte county, Mo., where they lived eighteen years. In 1883 they moved to Leavenworth where they have resided ever since.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband and seven daughters: Mrs. John [Adaline] Carroll, Mrs. E. [Rebecca] Hanks, Mrs. Will [Jennie] Chambers, Mrs. E[lbert]. F[rederick]. [Cashander Elizabeth] Brown, Mrs. Herman [Evaline] Stark, Mrs. Robert [Anna] Seeley, and Miss Vina Jackson; two brothers, Jasper Bradsburg [sic: Bradsberry; sometimes Bradsbury] of Platte county, and Frank of Washington, D.C. [sic: Washington state], and three sisters, Mrs. Cornelia Cafferty [sic: Cornelius McCaffrey], Mrs. Dave {half-sister Emma (White)} Smith of Leavenworth and Jane Graham of Cass county, Mo.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Homer E. Wark of the First M. E. [Methodist Episcopal] church. The pallbearers will be the six sons-in-law, John Carroll, William Chambers, Ed Hanks, E. F. Brown, Robert Seeley, and Herman Stark.
Burial will be in Mt. Muncie cemetery.

MRS. JULIA JACKSON'S FUNERAL HELD YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.
The funeral of Mrs. Julia Jackson, wife of John Jackson, who died Friday at the family home, Second and Pennsylvania avenues, was held from the home yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. Homer E. Wark, pastor of the First M. E. church.
The pallbearers were the six sons-in-law of Mrs. Jackson, John Carroll, William Chambers, Ed Hanks, E[lbert]. F. Brown, Robert Seeley, and Herman Stark. Burial was in Mt. Muncie cemetery.
