Mrs. Elsie Whittaker, wife of Willis Whittaker, formerly of Tekonsha but more recently of Coldwater, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mrs.[sic] Harold Zulz in Ann Arbor after a lingering illness. She was fifty-two years of age. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Zulz, Mrs. Phillip Hubbard, Mrs. Mildred Hunt of Union City and Mrs. Scott Crookes of Tekonsha; two sons, Clarence of Jackson and Roy of Tekonsha, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Blodgett of Homer; three sister[sic], Mrs. Frank Cook of Tekonsha, Mrs. Amos Hamilton and Mrs. Robert Howe of Homer also seven brothers, Fred and Harry of Homer; Leo of Tekonsha, Vaughn of Detroit, Willis of Battle Creek and Hugh of Toledo. The funeral will occur at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Blodgett in Homer Wednesdayy[sic] at 1:00 o'clock and at Riverside cemetery, Tekonsha at 3:00 o'clock. Rev. A. C. Schue will officiate and burial will be at Riverside.
