DEATH OF VAUGHN BLODGETT
Homer relatives have received word of the death of Vaughn Blodgett, age 66, who died Tuesday afternoon at his home in Detroit. Mr. Blodgett had been seriously ill for several months.
He was born August 3, 1887 in Tekonsha, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wills Blodgett, but much of his young life was spent in this village.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Arthur and Earl of Detroit and Willis of Washington, D.C. and two daughters, Mabel of Detroit and Fern of Washington, D.C., several grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. Frank Cook of Athens, Mrs. Amos Hamilton and Mrs. Robert Howe of Homer and two brothers, Leo of Homer and Clarence of Albion.
Funeral services will be held in Detroit Saturday.
